FullStride

The FullStride™ was developed by Becker Orthopaedic in the U.S.A. The knee joint is the latest in the stance control family and can be manufactured into any Total Contact KAFO.

When the anatomical knee extends completely at the end of swing phase, the joint locks in preparation for initial contact. As the ankle dorsiflexes after midstance, the knee joint unlocks and allows natural knee flexion in swing.

The joint's  innovative design will improve function and provides clients with greater flexibility, confidence and the freedom of choice. It provides maximum control of varus/valgus instability and knee hyperextension and can be easily converted into an automatic spring lever lock knee joint. It is easy to fabricate and can also be paired with any ankle joint on the market.

To find out whether the knee joint is right for you and how it can offer added therapeutic benefits, contact Neuromuscular Orthotics for an appointment. Together we can discuss how the orthosis can be best configured to give you optimal performance.
