Diagnostic Testing
The use of diagnostic tools is very important for complex neuromuscular clients. With hundreds of knee and ankle joints available on the Australian market, NeuroMuscular Orthotics ensures that the most functional orthosis is prescribed.
We utilise various forms of diagnostic procedures to assist us in orthotic prescription and include:
Below-knee walking cast
Above-knee walking cast
Hybrid below-knee & above-knee walking cast
Off the shelf carbon fibre AFO's
Stance control diagnostic orthosis
If appropriate, an appointment will be made for a walking cast assessment after your initial consultation has been completed. Clients should allow up to 2 hours for a walking cast assessment.
